Panel Roundtables
The Panel led one national and eight regional roundtable discussions across the country. Roundtable discussions were by invitation and were limited to 20-25 participants. Participants included people living in urban and rural First Nation communities, First Nation youth (e.g. senior high school students), parents, elders, school counsellors, and representatives from provincial governments and the private sector.
Regional Engagement Sessions
Since the launch of the engagement process on June 21, 2011 by the Assembly of First Nations National Chief Atleo and Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Minister Duncan, the National Panel has conducted a number of engagement activities including key meetings in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan, as well as school visits in Ontario and British Columbia. Additional information on these activities will be posted shortly.

Findings and recommendations:
The Panel will deliver its report to the National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations and the Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada on February 8, 2012.
